Returns, Cancellations & Exchange Policy
Vastra Abharana
This Returns, Cancellations & Exchange Policy (“Policy”) governs the terms under which products purchased from Vastra Abharana may be exchanged. By placing an order on our website or through any of our sales channels, the customer (“Customer”, “You”) agrees to be bound by this Policy.
1. Scope of Exchange
1.1 Vastra Abharana permits exchange of products solely in cases where the product is received in a damaged condition.
1.2 Exchange requests are accepted only within five (5) calendar days from the date of delivery.
1.3 No exchange request shall be entertained after the expiry of the said five (5) day period, under any circumstances.
2. Mandatory Proof for Damaged Products
2.1 In order to validate a damaged product claim, the Customer must provide:
- A clear parcel opening video, and
- Photographs of the damaged product with original tags intact.
2.2 The above proof must be shared within twenty‑four (24) hours of delivery via:

2.3 Failure to provide the required proof within the stipulated timeframe shall result in automatic rejection of the exchange request.
3. Conditions for Eligibility
3.1 To qualify for an exchange, the product must:
- Be unused
- Be in its original condition
- Be returned with original tags and packaging intact
3.2 Only one (1) exchange is permitted per order. Subsequent exchange requests shall not be accepted.
4. Non‑Exchangeable Items
4.1 The following items are strictly non‑exchangeable:
- Accessories, including but not limited to:
- Neckpieces
- Jhumkas
- Bangles
- Earrings
4.2 Products are not eligible for exchange if:
- Purchased under SALE / DISCOUNT / DEAL pricing, or
- Any customization or alteration service has been availed, including:
- Fall and pico
- Saree tasseling
- Blouse detachment
5. Exchange Request Procedure
5.1 To initiate an exchange, the Customer must contact Vastra Abharana within five (5) days of delivery via email or WhatsApp and provide:
- Order details
- Reason for exchange
- Supporting photographs and parcel opening video
5.2 All exchange requests are subject to verification and approval by Vastra Abharana.
5.3 Vastra Abharana reserves the absolute right to approve or reject any exchange request. In case of rejection, the reason shall be communicated to the Customer via email or WhatsApp.
6. Return Shipping & Fulfilment
6.1 Upon approval of the exchange request, the Customer shall ship the product to the following address:

6.2 Upon receipt and inspection of the returned product:
- The exchanged product shall be dispatched, or
- A refund shall be processed only if the replacement product is unavailable
7. Shipping Costs
7.1 The Customer shall bear all costs related to return shipping.
7.2 Shipping charges are non‑refundable.
7.3 Delivery timelines for exchanged products may vary based on the Customer’s location and logistical factors beyond Vastra Abharana’s control.
8. Product Care & Liability Disclaimer
8.1 Vastra Abharana shall not be liable for any damage occurring after delivery due to:
- Rain or moisture exposure
- Overuse
- Stains
- Improper washing, storage, or care
- Normal wear and tear
9. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law
9.1 In the event of any dispute relating to returns, cancellations, or exchanges, the Customer may contact Vastra Abharana at vastraabharana1@gmail.com.
9.2 The decision of Vastra Abharana in such matters shall be final and binding.
9.3 This Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2002.
9.4 The Customer expressly agrees that exclusive jurisdiction shall vest with the competent courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
